# Terms of Service Effective date: 10.10.2026 ## 1. Operator and scope These Terms govern your use of Sinlab Forgejo at https://code.sinlab.org (the “Service”), operated by SinLabaratory Montenegro (the “Operator”). Contact: valor.vl@gmail.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights provided by applicable law. ## 2. Accounts and acceptable use You are responsible for your account, credentials, and activities performed through your account. You must promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You must not use the Service to violate applicable law or third-party rights, distribute malicious software, obtain unauthorized access, send spam, or disrupt the Service. Security research materials must be shared lawfully and responsibly. ## 3. Your content You retain ownership of your content. You grant the Operator a non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, process, and display your content solely as necessary to operate the Service and provide features you enable, including backups and sharing. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights necessary to upload and share it. Public content may be accessed, copied, indexed, or redistributed by others. Deleting it from the Service does not remove copies held by third parties. Separate licenses attached to repositories or other materials continue to govern those materials. ## 4. “As is” and “as available” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. The Operator does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or free from data loss. No service-level agreement or guarantee of continued availability is provided unless expressly agreed in writing. You are responsible for maintaining independent backups. The Service must not be your sole storage location for important data. ## 5. Limitation of liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL; SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS; UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS; OR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. These exclusions apply only to the extent legally enforceable. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability that applicable law prohibits excluding or limiting. Mandatory consumer and data protection rights remain unaffected. ## 6. Third-party services and content The Service may integrate with third-party providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not responsible for third-party content, services, or their availability. ## 7. Suspension and discontinuation The Operator may restrict access, suspend accounts, or remove content to address violations, security threats, legal obligations, or operational needs. The Service may be modified or discontinued. Where reasonably practicable and legally required, advance notice will be provided. Urgent action may be taken without advance notice. ## 8. Changes and applicable law Material changes to these Terms will be communicated through the Service or another appropriate channel. Changes apply prospectively, subject to any notice or consent requirements imposed by law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro, without depriving users of mandatory protections available under applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
